Selective Browsing

What is “Selective Browsing”?

Selective browsing is when you cannot access your site using your ISP’s DNS when others can. This is a very well-known and prevalent problems of some ISPs (Internet Service Providers).

One way that can help address this issue is by changing your dial up’s or LAN’s DNS addresses. I would strongly suggest using OPENDNS.COM’s DNS addresses as I am also using them.

What is OpenDNS?
OpenDNS is a safer, faster, smarter and more reliable way to navigate the Internet. Their service is free and requires nothing to download.

There is a tutorial on their site on how to change your DNS addresses. Please try to use them if you are frequently experiencing selective browsing issue.
